Okay, so it's a lot more than just polka dots and a lot more than just furniture but you get the idea.  So let me just go ahead and say I can die in peace now because you can purchase a black and white polka dot office desk, the coolest table lamp I have ever seen and a silk 'cat nap' pillow that's actually a picture of a cat, well, napping.  I'll take three.

Kate Spade has always had a special place in my heart due to the fun of it all.  The whimsy.  The not-taking-yourself-too-seriously.  There's something charming about a girl who can laugh at herself. They say a sense of humor is one of the most sought after traits in a partner so you may as well cultivate it.  Besides, all black, all day gets really boring.  And I hate boring.

 The seasons are changing.  Leaves are turning colors and it's getting cooler.  Okay, well that might not be happening in my part of the world but that's okay, it's officially Fall and I'm going to dress like it is!  There are always a few key pieces that you need to stay on-trend and carry you through til the fancy party season begins.  Need a little help?  I'll here to show you what you need and where to get it!

4. Booties - Whether they're flat or heels, neutral, animal print or a jewel tone you already knew you didn't need an excuse to add to your ever-growing collection.

5. A Long Vest - This trend is certainly worth trying on before investing.  Pay close attention to the fit and length of the vest to make sure you aren't swallowed whole by the duster.  Shoot for hem to hit either around the knee or at the slimmest point of your calf to prevent cutting off the body at an awkward angle and keep the rest of the silhouette slim.

The iPad has certainly made like easier - the sweetest mix between your treasured iPhone and your laptop that makes sure you at least know you're late for your appointment, makes shopping online from your favorite retailers way too easy and means you'll never have to buy another physical book if you don't want too.  While the iPad itself is sleek and pretty all by itself it's much too fragile to be left out in the open to fend for itself while there are wayward dogs, purses and butts still around.  While the Otter Box is certainly the most effective way to protect your investment in technology, we must say, we prefer something a little more stylish.  See our favorite cases that marry style and function!

While $800 is steep to spend on any tech case, we can guarantee that it's made to last and will be stylish for years to come.  With that said, we think we would rather put that $800 towards a 2.55 handbag but if it showed up on our doorstep we would be happy to put it to good use!

5.  Proenza Schouler, Bright Leather, $600
While all of these cases can help make your iPad or other tablet the most stylish at the office, we have to admit that our absolute favorite is this Proenza Schouler case.  First and foremost, it's the only case with a zipper which is extremely important to us:  we like all our pieces to do double-duty and when we aren't using the case for it's intended purpose we like to store stationary, pens and stamps.  Secondly and perhaps more important, it's designed after Proenza Schouler's PS1 bag that we have been drooling over for years. 

Scent is one of those things that is quite often overlooked:  women get ready in the morning, they're running late and quite often the last thing that they do is brush their teeth before rushing out the door and heading to wherever they're needed.  We think that's a mistake.  It only takes about 8 seconds to pick up one of those pretty bottles sitting on your vanity (or night stand or bathroom counter or wherever else you might have it) spritz some perfume on your neck and wrists and then make a mad dash for the door.  Those 8 seconds are beyond valuable too - they last all day:  strangers who walk past you will notice a hint of scent, your clothes will have that "you" smell to them and when you come into close contact with friends or someone special they'll notice a little something special about you.

A lighter version of Coco, Coco Mademoiselle has become Chanel's best selling fragrance in recent years, overtaking the famous Chanel N5 for the first time in history.  Lighter yet still spicy and sensual it's perfect for cocktail dresses or anytime you're feeling sultry. Daisy Eau So Fresh is a lighter twist on the classic Daisy:  lighter and more fruity, this version is a perfect wear-anytime fragrance when nothing else seems to fit because it goes with everything.  Besides, who can resist that bottle? Marc Jacobs' Daisy Eau So Fresh, 4.2 oz, $95

Chanel N5 may be the classic Chanel fragrance, but for us it was just too heavy and serious which is why we were so excited to see N5 Eau Premiere.  Much lighter and softer than the original, Eau Premiere is becoming one of our favorite everyday scents - still chic but fun at the same time. Last but not least, Pretty is exactly what it sounds like.  A light, pretty fragrance perfectly suited for most outfits and events but reminds us most of dressing up for church on Sunday:  it's very ladylike. Elizabeth Arden's Pretty, 3.3 oz, $65

Rainy days don't have to get your spirits down - grab a fun, yet functional pair of jeans and a brightly colored bag to keep your spirits up.

Suspenders aren't just for boys these days - we borrow Mr. Harbin's on a regular basis, just make sure you add some feminine accessories to keep the outfit from looking overly like you just stepped out of your man's closet.

While our Tiffany key and charms is an ever-present staple (our 1st, 2nd and 3rd anniversary gifts from Mr. Harbin), we always like to layer on a few extras; why not add a hot pink and gold bottle opener over a pretty, chunky sparkling piece?

Life is entirely too short to be serious all the time - we guarantee you'll smile every time you check your watch with this bazooka pink strap and face and who doesn't love a chic pair of glasses?
