Mary Katrantzou

While her new Spring 2013 RTW collection is reminiscent of postage stamps and currency, it's her Fall 2012 collection that has me smitten.  Besides, it is still cold outside and anyone who has her ability to use bright colors and patterns in this manner of perfection is a hero to me.  My main question is where do they get the prints?  Stunning.

Mary has not only perfected the art of prints (no surprise there, it's what she's known for) but she is innovative in shapes as well.  Architecture is a strong second to the prints and colors that were dominate throughout the show and showcased her originality in a very dramatic way.

While the actual runway pieces are not available for purchase, pieces inspired by the collection are available at Barney's, Neiman Marcus and other high end retailers but at an average price of $2000 for one of those beautiful dresses I don't think they will be present in most women's closets.  Take inspiration by incorporating bold patterns, colors, textures and embellishment into a single outfit and keep your confidence level high - there's no way you won't be noticed!
