Let us begin by saying we am NOT Keeping up with the Kardashians fans. At all. It's entirely too much drama, everyone seems to be completely lacking in common sense and dear GOD those girls are spoiled. But that doesn't mean Kim isn't a gorgeous girl and she has the spread in Vogue to prove it. (Kanye, on the other hand, we are simply going to ignore...would someone please teach him to think about what what he says before he opens his mouth? Kay, thanks, bye.)![]()
To be completely honest, we actually don't like the cover. It just doesn't speak to us...there isn't enough drama for what appears to be the one of the world's most dramatic couples. There are some stunningly beautiful shots with gorgeous gowns in the spread and this cover shot just isn't up to par. Come on Vogue, if you're going to put someone on the cover that's going to spark this much controversy it has to be flawless. But once you get to the actual spread the glamorous factor is amped way up; after all, with gowns from Schiaparelli Haute Couture, Nina Ricci, Dolce and Gabbana, Givenchy, Lanvin Blanche Collection and Alexander McQueen there's no doubt that the fashion is going to be top notch.

The fact that Kim has finally landed her first Vogue cover hasn't exactly gone over that well with everyone - actress Sarah Michelle Gellar tweeted that she's cancelling her subscription to the fashion bible while numerous other celebrities and bloggers are questioning Anna Wintor's decision to put not-exactly-A-listers on the cover. Though there have been rumors that Kanye pressured Wintor into putting Kim on the cover she fired back in her editor's letter saying that's not true:
“You may have read that Kanye begged me to put his fiancée on Vogue’s cover. He did nothing of the sort. The gossip might make better reading, but the simple fact of the matter is that it isn't true.”
We don't really care how she ended up on the cover, but one thing is for sure: North West (despite her incredibly ridiculous name) is completely adorable. Too bad she didn't make the cover.
