If Rihanna was our singer girl crush, then Jennifer Lawrence is definitely our actress girl crush. To be completely honest we didn't know who she was until The Hunger Games promotions plastered her face everywhere. We fell in love with Katniss Everdeen (we're suckers for badass chicks, especially if there's a bow and arrow involved, although we're not sure what that's all about) and suddenly it seemed J. Law was everywhere. Silver Linings Playbook, which did in fact win her an Oscar, The House at the End of the Street, The Devil You Know and the American Hustle - it seemed that Lawrence was on a roll. It was only then that we realized that was the same girl who gave the magnificent performance in Winter's Bone (hence the Oscar nod) and the young Mystique who was afraid to show her true colors in X-Men: First Class. Apparently she had been on a roll for a while.

How do you not love a girl like this? Beautiful, talented, she speaks her mind - certainly our kind of girl. Look for her in the movie Serena which co-stars Bradley Cooper where she plays the title character who descends into madness, X-Men: Days of Past where she will be reprising her blue skin as Mystique and, of course, the final two The Hunger Games movies. It looks like 2014 will be another busy year for our favorite actress!
