Naomi Watts received an Oscar nod for Best Actress for her work in 21 Grams in 2004 but it was her glittery, silver Versace gown that made her a winner.

Keira Knightley Vera Wang 2006 Academy Awards Best Dresses
Keira Knightley may not have won the Oscar for Best Actress for her work in Pride and Prejudice in 2006 but she certainly looked the part in this incredible one-shoulder, burgundy taffeta Vera Wang gown.

Amy Adams Proenza Schouler 2008 Oscar de la Renta 2013 Best Academy Awards Dresses
When it comes to accessorizing her red hair, Amy Adams is a pro.  Her structural, pine-hued Proenza Schouler gown in 2008 (left) is smolderingly sexy while the Oscar de la Renta from 2013 (right) hits a sweeter note with gray feathery-chiffon to help celebrate her Oscar nod for Best Supporting Actress for her role in The Master.

Zoe Saldana Givenchy Haute Couture 2010 Best Academy Awards Dresses
Not a unanimous red-carpet favorite but certainly one of ours, Zoe Saldana's purple ombre Givenchy Haute Couture gown is a glittery, frothy hit as far as we're concerned.

Cameron Diaz Oscar de la Renta 2011 Best Academy Awards Dresses
Cameron Diaz doesn't have any Oscars under her belt but she does have an incredible body as showcased by the Oscar de la Renta gown she wore in 2011 - neutral colored and covered in graduated applique and beading this dress was a hit with everyone.

Rooney Mara Givenchy Couture 2010 Best Academy Awards Dresses
Rooney Mara was nominated for Best Actress for her role in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo but it was her stunning Givenchy Couture gown that had us seeing white.

Anne Hathaway Prada 2013 Valentino 2011 Best Academy Awards Dresses
She's just about done it all - winning an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Les Miserables while wearing a pale pink Prada column dress in 2013 (left) to co-hosting the Academy Awards with James Franco and changing outfits 8 times (yes 8!) including this red, bustled Valentino Haute Couture gown in 2011.  We can't wait to see what Anne Hathaway wears this year!
