Sarah Burton, the creative genius behind Alexander McQueen these days, has gone and done it again. Spring 2014 McQueen doesn't reference a specific time or theme it does ave plenty of visual interest. Abstract plaids, checks and edgy eyelets make for slightly more wearable designs while the more over the top dresses incorporated hair and feathers, after all would it really be McQueen without feathers? Peruse through our favorites and see the full 32 looks from the show at Style - don't forget to check out the shoes too!
Lots of leather in in flared skirts and bold patterns were abundant in Alexander McQueen's Spring 2014 collection. |
Though this may not be the most practical dress, who ever said McQueen ever was? We love this interpretation of picnic plaid. |
Fit and flare skirts dominated the runway although we are particularly fond of the look on the right with the hardware throughout - and the shoes are to die for! |
It wouldn't be McQueen without something a little...over the top. Ostrich feathers anyone? |
Hair? Halter? Pattern? Badass shoes? Yes to all although we have no idea where we would wear it. |
Perfect for the Met Gala, these column dresses complete with circles of dyed feathers are just the right amount of outrageous. |
