We want to share a little secret with you. We love Rihanna. We're mildly obsessed with everything about her, from the incredibly sexy accent to the incredibly sexy legs, Rihanna's not just a songstress these days, she's fashion's favorite muse. Sporting a variety of top-name designers at awards shows, galas and while performing it's a far cry from the ripped jeans and cropped tanks from her first days in the limelight all the way back in 2005. One of fashions constant chameleons, Riri is known for her ever-changing style and daring personality - after all from red to jet black, extensions to chopping it all off there isn't anything she hasn't done to her hair.
It would appear that fashion agrees that Rihanna is a huge influence, in December 2013 she was named the latest face of edgy designer Balmain and she's the Executive Producer of "Styled to Rock". Stretching her designer wings she has produced two limited edition lines for the River Island label, which in part helped her earn the cover of American Vogue 3 times. But the biggest honor she has received yet is one that is yet to be presented: on the 2nd of June she will follow in the footsteps of Lady Gaga and Kate Moss and be named the 2014 Fashion Icon of the Year at the CFDA Fashion Awards. We're excited that the fashion world is embracing controversial and fashion-forward figures; we can't wait to see what she wears!
In honor of Riri's style transformation, let's look back at our favorite looks from her street style, red carpet arrivals and performance outfits. Which one's your favorite?
