Mesh, net, chiffon, silk gauze...the fabrics found in Vera Wang's Spring 2014 Collection bring to mind a sporty and effortlessly cool girl. Mesh and net layers of black made up the first third of the show with the rest comprised of floaty dresses in rich blue, ivory and black, citrus and bright poppy. We appreciate the sport-inspired racerback necklines and sheer cutouts that show a hint of skin here and there. Our favorites? The embellished cocktail dresses. Sporty separates and embellished cocktail dresses gave Vera Wang's Spring 2014 clothes an effortless cool vibe. |
Black and white never goes out of style, but it does get a modern update in sheer layers of breezy chiffon. |
Citrus has never looked better than when it's executed in panels of sheer fabric that skims the body. |
This bright poppy silk gown shows just enough skin with a nude diagonal panel strategically placed at mid-thigh. |
